I have never believed in the concept of work life balance. I believe in the concept of "Fun Maximization." For me, I seek to make my work something I enjoy just as much as taking a vacation. Sure, there are things I don't really like doing (like driving in traffic) and I seek to minimize them. To me, the key is to be around people you like and do things you love to do. If you are fortunate, you can get get the side benefit of being paid!

You can read my resume on Linked-In so I here is a bit more about how I work and what I believe. I was a geek before being a geek was a cool thing. As a child I would take apart everything, including my parents TV and even my dad's car to see how it worked. Most of the time I even got the things back together. As an engineer I sought out the hardest problems I could find and would never assume that the current way of doing things was the best way. I have a passion for making things better.
The key to innovation is often simply being open to new ideas. So many entrepreneurs are young because, as we gain experience we often close their minds to new ideas. Not every idea is good but I believe almost everything can be improved.
